Feeling Kicks after giving birth?

I am almost 8 weeks pp and ALL day long, I have been feeling kicking sensations in my lower right side, where she would normally kick me. 

It's really been freaking me out because they feel so authentic LOL

Anyone else had this? I guess it's probably just nerves. My uterus has shrank below this area. Hopefully it's just skin or my stomache shrinking back to normal size. That'd be great LOL.

i had those for a couple of wks after i had my son..ijust thought it was gas

I had the same thing for awhile it is pretty creepy
I am pretty sure it is everything contracting and getting back to normal size

ha yeah that happened to me too its really creepy
 

i think they are called phantom kicks, i ahve heard of alot of people having them

I think thats normal, at least I hope it is...because I felt those "movements" PP as well.

ive been getting those too and im 10 weeks pp. it kinda freaks me out  

Yeah I sometimes STILL think I feel them and I am 4 months PP.

Im not sure, but Ive heard its from your uterus contracting back to its normal size.

I had that the first night or two, but not since. I thought I was Crazy until I read this!

I had this same thing for quite sometime after delivering my son. It was really bad for the first couple of weeks, but when I talked to my Dr's about it they said it's not uncommon for women to experience this. Its more of you minds way of coping and dealing with the major change it had under gone. The reason I had it so bad was because I delivered my son via c-section 8 weeks early, so my body and mind were not "ready" to give up the idea of being preggo. I miss being pregnant so much that I have a hard time not thinking about it.

I have had the same thing happen to me......I just thought it was gas or something! It was weird though because it felt real....

its creepy. it scared me when i first felt it.
