X-ray results are in...... NO CRANIOSYNOSTOSIS! It's official now.
The doc said that Paige can wait on a helmet too... just keep flipping her position in her crib (which I am obsessive about) and encouraging her to lift her head more (which she is getting really good at). She will reassess Paige at her 6 month appointment.

My son has a very large head also, and what they call plagiochepaly or flat head, but due to it not rounding out the Dr said that his sutures are not disolving. She sent us for a X-ray and there are questionable spots for Craniosynostosis. we are waiting for a appt to go to Mader childrens hospital for consult with a pediactric Neurosurgeon... I hope I get good results like you... OH my son was born 4wks early weighing in at 6lb 10 oz
