Help on how to induce labor! due in 4 days

Ok so I'm due with my first baby in 4 days. My stomach is pretty small so they did an ultrasound to check her size yesterday, and turns out she weighs 7 pounds and 7 ounces already!! I am so ready for her to be here! So I am open on suggestions on how to speed things up. I have been at 1 cm dilated for the past 2 weeks. So far i've tried nipple stimulation and squats, but i'm not sure how long or how many to do.

Also, I think I might be having some contractions, but i'm not sure what to expect. My stomach gets really tight, but could it just be the baby pushing out? And some of the time I get a sharp pain in my back up on the right side by my ribs. Thanks

Really no matter what you do, the baby will come when she's ready.

Four days, I'd say to wait it out. If you think you're feeling something, let it happen. Don't push it, believe me. I had Evan 9 days before my due date. I know waiting is hard but you're going to be that much more appreciative knowing the baby came when she wanted to. Hell, it could happen tonight, for all we know!

They aren't real labor contractions until they start coming at regular intervals and resting doesn't stop them. Try walking a lot and having sex since both can help to speed things up with some women. Good luck!

She'll come when she's ready,oh and 7lbs isnt all that big and it could be off by some.

I just ate a whole bunch, I mean a whole bunch and then I seemed to go into labor the next day.

Lol.

The first one I went into labor, but didn't know it, at Thanksgiving dinner.

My second one? I still didn't know it.

My doc said to have sex, the sperm is suppose to soften your cervix.

Sex worked well with both of my first two.

Honestly, every woman is different. I tried walking, sex, nipple stimulation, spicy food (some say that works) .. and I've tried all of this multiple times in the last few weeks and nothing has worked. Just make sure you're getting enough rest and it's only 4 days.. your baby will be here soon!

Ultrasounds are off on weight. It's just a guess. Wait it out. It's not that big of a deal.

I know I should just wait it out but thats easier said than done. I am bored out of my mind and I am just ready to have her. Hopefully, fingers crossed, there is some truth to the full moon thing. I've heard of the whole sex thing, but its getting to be uncomfortable and I'm afraid i'll hurt the baby, who knows maybe we'll give it a shot tonight.

You need to walk!!! My first pregnancy ended 12 hours after the official due date. The last two weeks before the birth of my son I was walking, walking, walking... Each day I had different reasons why I sould go to the mall

Wow 4 days? I went 2 weeks over~ we tried every trick in the book~ the bottom line is there is nothing you can do to make that baby come before she is ready. If the doctor thinks she's too big he'll induce you, otherwise it could be risky for that baby to be born befor she is ready.

I went a week overdue. It wasn't that bad. Just stay on BG all day, or go to the park and walk a lot. It'll be over before you know it if you keep busy.

Girly... I feel ya! I want to have this baby ASAP! Im due today, an only 4cm with on an off contractions... SUCKS BOOTAY!!! Alot of SEX helps, ALOT of pumping (3-4 times aday over here) to get contractions... And walking helps too but only to point where I get alota pelvis pressure (sorenss). But other then that... He will come on his own time.
