re: Baby Shower Game Ideas!

ok so this sounds silly but it ws a big hit. Believe it or not my husband thought of it because he was having too much fun with the gun when we registerd. ok.... So you go though the store and pick like 5 random items... we had a tire a movie and exercise mat ummm.... a goldfish (we were at walmart) and a christmas tree. Dont tell anyone. Then at your shower for a special prize (we did a 10 dollar gift card to target) name the 5 random items.... you will also see who actually looks at the registry.

don't know if anyone already posted this but........... guess the babyfood kind... put a one baby item in like 5 sox and make the people guess just by feeling what's inside the sock with there feet.... baby bingo ummm... baby word scramble...

when i planned my sisters baby shower. we bought the bathtub that she registered for and filled it with stuff for the hospital..like things she, her husband, and her daughter would need while staying in the hospital or waiting. We covered the bathtub with a blanket and put in the center of the room for like 60 seconds and then got everyone totry and rememberwhat was in the bathtub whoever got the most wins a prize. it is funny to see what people remember and dont. Plus the mommy gets the bathtub and extra fun things.

I just thought of some more...if you just wanted a more relaxed game (like for instance, we just had papers on the table and people did them at their own leisure throughout the babyshower or while they were eating or whatever and then we went over them at the end)...We did one where you have to match the child to the celebrity parent (example: apple = gwenyth paltrow, coco = Courtney Cox) and there was one other one that was fill in the blank naming the offspring of animals (example:deer - fawn, fox - kit, cow - calf, etc.)
Then like I said at the end we went over them to see who had the most right.
Fun for older ladies that cant get up and get around as much and for those who are too shy to participate!

we are going to pay My water broke game.
Basically at the party supply store they sell these little bags of mini plastic babies and you put on in each ice cube slot of a tray and bascially have a bunch of ice cubes with little plastic babies in the middle. You serve one Ice cube to all the guest in their beverage and the first baby to melt out of the ice cube has to yell My water just broke!! You can find the little plastic babies online too.

At my sisters baby shower we played a game were everyone wore a safty pin and if some says baby or the baby's name then you gat to take the pin. Whoever has the most pins wins. We also played the tolit paper game and the "my water broke game". You can also put the baby's name at the top of a paper and have them come up with as many words as they can in like a minute.
