re: December 2007 Moms

hi guys. i only posted on here like once a long time ago but anyway. my son started walking about a week ago he is becoming such a big boy. He will be one on the 12th of next month. Its so crazy how fast this year has gone. The other day i put in his order for his bday cake and they are giving me a free personalized bday cake just for jesse. I was so touched. They do that for eveyone too. Oh yeah the place i am talking about is publix. lol Well im gonna stop babbling on and on now.

Welcome back. YAY for your son walking. Kimberly has taken like one step and that is it. She will be on the 26th of December. I can't believe it is time to start planning for b-day parties already

Thanks. They are so cute when they walk and they get so excited n everything. Aww a day after christmas. My son is so spoiled he has 6 bday presents from us and has 23 christmas presents. Its crazy. I couldnt stop myself from buying things that was in his age group. lol I know i cant believe its time to plan birthday parties either. So many things to get done.

Hello everyone! You are right Tracy, it has been quiet in here. I've been on, but just reading along. So let's see, what's been going on this week....

Well, I got Brady's b-day invites out! I'm so excited and can't believe that my baby's turning one! It's definitely so bittersweet! Lucky for me I'm not too sad, I really just try to enjoy every moment instead of getting sad about him growing up. I've decided that I think I'm going to hold off on any more birthday gifts until the day after Thanksgiving. I cannot wait to go shopping!!! I'm not a huge fan of crowds but I love getting up early (that day only...haha! I'm NOT an early riser by choice!) and watching all the crazies running around buying EVERYTHING! It's so amusing!

AF also showed up this week thanks to my prescription so YAY! Maybe we can actually try for baby #2 sometime soon! I was really hoping for a spring time baby but I've missed that so I'll take what I can get. Who knows, maybe it will take that long to get preggo and I'll end up with a spring baby anyways.

I've decided that I'm going to turn our extra bedroom into a playroom for Brady. I'm going to start after the first of the year and I'm so excited! I need to start looking at ideas. I figure it'll kill two birds with one stone cause I'll decorate it for when it's his bedroom, so then when we do have another baby he'll be ready to move into his new room. It'll save me having to do two rooms at once. I'm not sure if I'll do farming, racing, John Deere, monkeys (lol), or something else. Anyone have any good ideas?

We have a photographer coming on Saturday to take Brady's one year pictures. I cannot wait! I'm a little nervous because I was "practicing" with him the other day and he kept making this awful scrunchy face everytime I took a picture!

Well my baby's waking up and needs lunch. I'll try to get some replies later. Sorry I've just been rambling out about myself! Later ladies!

Good Evening Girls!!!! Sorry I have been MIA . Things have been nutty around here! We got the house but seriously it is a lot of mess to clean and a total disaster left by the previous tenants and it has been vacant for six months. Well, It's a really big place (three bedrooms 1 and 1/2 bath) , lg kitchen, dining area, then on the lower level is an office, sitting area with a wood burning stove, laundry room, and a HUGE playroom that is "L" shaped so part of it we are going to turn into a craft room. It has a LOT of work but will be soooo worth it when it's all done! We are cleaning this weekend and then next weekend moving

Sorry for cutting it short before. Seth woke up and was really crying hard. Plus it's so hard to let him soothe himself back to sleep when the other two boys are less than 5feet away sawing logs! ;) I did skim through all the posts from the last three days and from the sounds of it everyone is getting ready for the big ONE birthday. Well, I know it probably sounds uncaring but we aren't doing a big party like we did for Jace and Owen. I think it will be too much with just moving and trying to get settled. SO, I think instead we are going to do a intimate party with just grandparents, great grandparents and my sister and her boys. Maybe have sandwiches (shredded chicken or sloppy joes) and a couple sides with cake and ice cream. I am going to do the nice invites like we did with the boys but just not as many guests. Oh, and we will also do a one year dvd of Seth and how much he has grown. Well, I would love to reply some more but I have a headache from the weather changing again (its snowing). If I don't make it here this week, PLEASE have a safe and Happy Thanksgiving.
Oh, and I am starting a list.....

Hey mommas.... So I have a dilemma.... I was looking at some Christmas stuff for Christopher and I am at a loss.... I am trying to figure out if THIS Christmas is his first or if LAST Christmas was his first. We had this debate while I was in labor last year and I am trying to figure it out. I am saying that this year is his first because well Chris was born really late in the day last year BUT then again he was born on Christmas. So, see my dilemma. I want to get him something that says baby's first Christmas but if it was last year that is kind of pointless....

Well, let's see.... I had replies but now Aiden distracted me and I can't think....

One more question before I pop on out to take the boys to the zoo.... Are any of you having a hard time getting your baby off the bottle and on to sippy cups? Chris I have been trying them on him for a month and he screams and throws a fit and refuses to drink from them. I have tried four or five different style sippy sups and nothing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

JMO I would use this year as his first. I am having a very hard time with going from bottle to sippy cup. Kimberly wants no part of it

Leann~ I would count this as his first. Since he was just barely born on Christmas day, thihs year would be best as his first! Olyvia has been on sippy cups only for about 2 months or so, so we were lucky and didn't have a hard time switching!

Nicki~ Yay for getting Brady's invites out!! I still need to mail Olyvia's!!   I'm glad AF finally came for you, so now you can really start working on baby # 2...you know, it will probably happen sooner than you think and you'll end up with a fall baby and be huge prego all summer! lol...Sorry, that was mean to wish upon you!   I would think for the playroom, racing or something like that would probably last him longer, since you plan on it becoming his room one day. But, John Deere or monkey's would be awfully cute too!! That's so exciting that you are having a photographer come. We are going to one's house on the 30th, but I'm still photographer shopping, so if I can find someone I like more before that date, I'll switch!   And, he'll probably behave better for her than you!

LeAnn.....I am having a hard time breaking Seth of the bottle. He has been my hardest baby yet! He loves the sippy cup for milk at dinner time and water for other meals BUT he LOVES the bottle VERY,VERY much!!!! I think I may wait till around 13 or 14 months and then really try and break him of it! Definitely this year is his first.

Um...lets see...oh, Caryn how are you today? How is miss Olyvia and Mr. E (in your belly) ;) And your pain in the butt pups? ;)
