CDIB Card

I have a CDIB card and when I have my baby, im going to quit work well I won't have any insurance on me or the child...but I can use Indian hospitals because I have a CDIB card..My question is does my kid have to have a card before they will see them??? because I have no idea how long that takes to get one...or should I just plan on taking them to a health department for check ups?

I have no idea but If I were you I would just call and ask, if you aren't working you MIGHT be able to get medicaid for the baby so you could also look into that. They most likely have something in place for the babies at the Indian hospital, I mean you would think so anyway.

I know, I should be able to take them there since they will get a card but Im not sure how long that takes...I think when I have a half day I might go talk to them..

Are you going to be having the baby there or not? I wouldn't think they would make you wait on a card.

no Im not having my baby there...Im having it at south crest
