we are very well taken care of in this country when it comes to money and what not when not working..... besides we get 4000 when you have a baby so she would ahve gotten 8200 not that long ago...this lady is sick and i hope they both stay in jail forever...to leave your starving dead children for a week and let your 11 year old find them....FUCKERS...sorry about the language but seriously...they are..    RIP...little babies

I wasn't there so I guess I'm not comprehending the whole story...Her baby had wet through her diaper and you bought her one. That's a good friend. But did she not have diapers in the first place or mom just forgot the diaper bag? Who among us hasn't forgoten our diaper bags at one point? If that were the case, she just forgot it, that can be explained away. CPS won't don anything about that.

I'm toatlly with you on the rest of the story though. Leaving your kids in the car is something only a total mornon would do. But she could tell CPS that she was right next to the car on her phone, because like a good mom she didn't want her kids to hear her fighting with her bf and that the windows were down. AND she could play the abused woman act when they question her about the physical confrontation with the bf in the parking lot. She could tell them that she was innocently holding her son and the bf decided to freak out on her. There's no telling what she could say to CPS to explain away her whole day.
CPS has to have physical proof of neglect to take kids fromt their parents. I only know this because my sister, the loser, lost custody of her kids to CPS. They were called several times, it took the parents admitting to doing drugs in front of the kids to get them out of harms way.
I am so not saying you did the wrong thing, so please don't think that. Because of you, CPS will keep an open file on these kids and check up on them. (that's what they are supposed to do anyway) You may have given the mom a wake up call too. You calling CPS could potentially make those children's lives a little easier. So good for you! It takes a real mom to see child neglect and, friend or not, do something about it. If more people reported abuse some kids would have much better lives.

Geez glad you were there to help those babies. And about the twins that died, that is just sad   It breaks my heart when I hear about kids dying.

Omg how sad! Yeah I was never one to get involved in anyones business untill I got beat in a public place... I wanted and needed help so bad but no one did anything but watch!! I even got dragged in the car with me kicking and still no one did anything... so I figured they were in the same place and needed the same help

Im kind of shure she didnt forget the diaper bag. I know we all forget it sometimes, theres been times where I packed my babies diaper bag to come and find out i forgot the formula, or wipes, even the diaper.. but she didnt bother to check the diaper when we left her house, or even to take a bottle for her... and when I mentioned to her that the baby had gone she said "Oh leave her" ... I couldnt though because it was puffy and leaking through.


& she could claim that she went outside to talk on the phone, but in california we have commercials and signs, and billboards on buses and highways saying "Dont leave your child in a hot car" because it gets really hot... alot of kids have died and suffocated in cars because its hot..

and also there were witnesses there to see what happened and they also took part... i mean she could tell cps what she wants but i found out today that her neighboors had already done it... so hey 2 calls on her already im shure they will keep an eye on her

my husband is the kind of guy who likes to stay out of other peoples business unless it involves kid. .me on the other hand.. i will either intervene or calll the cops.. i dont care. I would hope someone would do the same for me. Im sorry you had to go through that. and again. Im glad you were there for those children.. way to go momma!

one of my good friends used to have a really abusive bf. he was verbally, mentally, and sometimes physical with her.. he would never get physical with her infront of me.. one night he almost did.. i stood up and said do it mo fo and you'll be sorry. i made it a point to stick around a lot even though it annoyed him.. lol .. they broke up but at one point he pulled me aside to thank me for being such a good friend to her. wierd. i cant stand for that shit i really cant..
