Private posts

I think it would be a good idea to give users the option of having "private posts"
For instance, anything I typed, would appear to a non-member as "This user has chosen to keep her posts private. please make an account to view post." (or something of the like)
I know that if someone was really curious, they could just make an account but i think it would still be a nice privacy-extra.

Ah I think about this all the time! I wonder if my family ever come's here and lurks. I doubt they would register! I think in order to view anything you need to join!

I agree that's a great idea...if there's a petition about it i'll sign

It's called making an anouncement to your parentank

I would sign too... that's definitely a great idea. Cut down on the lurkers and probably up the fackers... but still.

I visited the site from the computer lab at my school the other day and went  
i think sometimes we feel so comfy w/ one another that we forget this is still a public forum!

I haven't really thought about the logistics as I'm not too familiar w/ running a website lol but it sounds good in theory (to me!)

I think that's a good idea... I was thinking the other day, it would be nice to be able to make posts and them only be available to your parentank.

Somewhat the same concept as you, but gives more privacy.

Both ideas I think would be great.

Doing that though, when someone in your parentank wants to reply they either have to message you or post a comment... it doesn't allow the ability for there to be conversation w/ all of your parentank at once.

I totally agree i found out my exes ex was reading all my stuff lol i freaked out and erased it all!! It doesnt matter anymore but man that would have been awesome to have when i was writing all my crazy post about my ex lol....I sometimes forgot it was a public forum sooo if its possible that would be something great to do!!
