I hate to bring an old post to life, but unfortunately that statement isn't correct for every daycare.

My son has been to 3 different day cares, and as long as they were being paid, no.. you do not lose their spot. Obviously not every daycare center is the same. Please speak and specify for the one that you're knowledgable of.

well it goes for my daughters daycare...and that is all tha matters since this post was about me.
