Husband's/boyfriend's reactions..

..when their child was born!
Did he tear up - not really know what to think.. ooor?
I'm just curious as my husband wasn't present for the birth of our first child, but he'll be in the operating room with me this time and he's a bit nervous cause he doesn't like the thought of being in the same room as someone who's being cut open!

Sooo.. I just thought I'd see how all the other SO's took it

Watching! My bf already told me he thinks hes gonna pass out. I'll kill him! lol

My fiance cried like a baby, of course I can't talk I was crying like CRAZY.

My husband was so excited and giddy like a child on Christmas. It was pretty cute. He was cheering me on and runnign back and forth between me and the baby once she was delivered.

He was really nervous. He was worried something would happen to me or the baby because of some crazy dream he had. But after he saw that we were ok he got the biggest smile on his face. He was never around babies before his son was born and he did great!! It just came natural to him.

Andre cried when all three of our kids were born.
Neither one of us thought he'd be able to handle it but he was right there with me all 3 times.

Well. When I was pushing and he saw her head, he was kind of disgusted. But then I ended up getting the c-section. when he got to hold her, I saw him tear up, but he acted like he wasn't. But the next day, he told me that on his way home from the hospital, he cried.

My husband stood by and watched the entire birth of our oldest while holding my hand. He was absolutely AMAZED by everything and told me later he had a new respect for me. He went on to watch the birth of our following two children. It is an intense moment for him. You can just see it in his eyes...a sort of realization he'd helped create the little being coming from my body.

My situation is WAY different...
I was preggo by my ex husband (he left me 3 weeks after baby was conceived) and I met someone when I was 6 months along... She was born 2 months later.
He came to the hospital that night to see me, and the look on his face was like he was so amazed by me.. he seemed to have so much more respect and look at me with a certain awe.

the more time we spent with him, I watched him watch Lily and he seemed so fascinated by the fact that she was alive lol. he said "she's doing everything for the first time. it's amazing."

He cried and kept saying hi to her.

My husband cried like a sissy! aha.

I kind of wish my hubby was more emotional and wasn't afraid to shed a tear! Even if he did, he would never admit to it.

my partners been in the OR for both kids and he cried...also with jetts birth (#2) they let joel cut the cord...woohoo....5 days LOL  ...sorry just sooooooo excited

my hubby cried and had a smile from ear to ear... but i think this time is going to be even more tears bc its a girl and even though we are thankful now that our first was a boy we both really wanted a girl the first time, so he his probably going to really cry when shes born
