That'd be awesome if my hubby would cut the cord but I doubt he'd agree to it.   he'd pass out at the site of the blood!

It's funny because we were talking the other day about it, and he tried to lie and say he never did. I caught him in his lie and he admitted to it again.

Richard teared up but I never saw him cry. Granted, though, after pushing my children out I felt drained and relieved, so I'd relax while getting stitches and cleaned up and he'd be with our baby. So, I have no idea what happened between those times and actually seeing him again lol

my hubby wasnt present for the delivery due to deployment so i went back home to Michigan and my parents were in the room with me. my doc had to practically force my dad to cut the cord and my dad just about passed out... i saw my macho, "i-can-keep-it-together", BIG GUY (thats what i call my dad) off in a corner with tears rolling down his cheeks.

funny thing is even to this day he wont admit to it

I don't think he cried or anything like that. I am not sure though, haha.

lol my fiance was the same but after the birth i was rushed to the OB because i had internal bleeding and i didnt realize i ment more to him than his son because he left our son with a nurse and stood at the OB door the whole 4 hours while i was in there!!! It wasnt until i was move to the mom and baby room that he held our son and cried!!

My husband watched the entire c-section over the curtain. He talked more about how the doctor moved all my organs more than he did about how she got the baby out. But when she got out he just looked proud and smiled and had tears on his face. I didn't really know much of what was going on and I thought he was crying because my hands wouldn't stop shaking due to the anesthesia, so I kept telling him that I would be ok after it was over and they gave me some medicine to stop it. That's when he told me we had a baby girl.

My husband didn't make it in time to see our daughter be born. My mom was in the room with me and she was soooo amazed. She said "OMG, you really can see her head.....O she has a lot of hair(daughter)" My dad cried when he first held her (he's my stepdad but raised me). When my husband FINALLY saw her, he told me he was nervous standing outside the door but as soon as he saw her all that fear and nervousness went away. He was smiling so hard when he finally came in the room (i heard him standing outside talking for a few seconds). I really hope he actually gets to see our next baby (whenever that may be) be born. I have a feeling he will tear up, even though he's said he wont and then retracted the statement and said he doesn't know if he would cry or not lol

My hubby was too excited about seeing the csection to pay too much attention to his children being born......but nobody got to hold HIS babies (thats what he called them) until he had his fair share. I didnt think he'd let anyone touch them at first. He's still very protective to this day.

Milton didn't cry and actually I didn't either. I was in a lot of pain still because my placenta tore or something so I was just relieved for it all to be over! I had been awake for 48 hours straight or something crazy like that haha.
We were just like in aw that this little thing came out of me Lol. I cried a lot in the next few days though! He was laughing at me haha
