Who else is incredibly excited that there's a full moon tomorrow? AAAAAND it's my due date. xD


I know most people don't believe in the whole full moon and babies thing, but after the 3 weeks of latent labor I've been having, ANYTHING to move this pregnancy along is appreciated. LOL

haha.. I believe it!! There is a full moon on July 3rd before my due date on the 7th and Im holding out.

I've heard that l&d is actually more busy during full moons so hopefully its your night!!! Lots of labor dust to you!

I understand... My labor went on for two weeks and I was pulling my hair out -.-

Well now I am lol. I have never heard of anyone actully going into labor because of it but wishfull thinking huh?

I believe in that too. Ive always heard of it, and even the nurses in the hospital told me that whenever there's a full moon, they are always delivering lots of babies....However, it didnt work for me!!! I went overdue, when there was a full moon only 2 days before my due date! Not real sure why I believe still! Lol

It's because the phase of the moon affects the tides and pretty much anything water related. So the theory is that during a full moon, mommies ready to birth will experience their water breaking if the full moon is close to their due date (within a week I think) because of the force the moon has on water. I hope that made sense.

Well I believe it.
My daughter was born via Scheduled C-Section, but I was in active labor by the time I got to the hospital.
And it was a full moon that day.

LABOR DUST!!!

I believe it! And have heard my stories of friends going on or near full moon days! Good luck!!

Thanks guys. Hopefully the labor dust will stick and the moon can work it's magic on me. I mean, a double whammy of pressure to get this baby out... who can go wrong with that?
