Ok i think my (sorry if TMI) mucus plug is coming out but im not for sure. but it seems too early. Offically i will be 30 weeks tomorrow (wednesday).

im not sure if or when i passed my mucus plug with my first baby! but it was around the 38 or 39 week mark i started getin really mucus/blood when Id wipe after peeing (which my doc said was me passing the plug) but I guess you could pass it if you where going into labor soon! I would Call/ask/Tell your doctor Asap! Sorry to not be of more Help! i know its normal to come of a few weeks like 2 or 3 before you have the baby! Do you have alot of Bracston Hicks Contractions?

yah i have read alot on here that women can lose them early but they just regnerate themselves so its actually not a big deal

They can regenerate but it is on the list of preterm symptoms to watch for and to notify the doc when you get any of those symptoms. So if you think it is your plug, call your doc or the oncall service or whatever and describe what you are seeing and have them let your doc know. It is better safe then sorry.

Ok, white discharge could be a symptom of a yeast infection or it could be just a simple Leukhorea (sp?) which is just increased discharge during pregnancy. It can be clear, white, or yellowish. Does your discharge have a cottage cheese like texture? Odor? These are questions the nurse will ask when they are trying to determine for you if it normal or needs treatment or a culture ran. No matter what your answers were above, I would call and let the RN know at your doc's office so that they can 1) be aware of it and 2) help you decide what to do about it.
I don't think it is your plug though. The plug would be more like a chunk of "snot" coming out.

White discharge is usually Nothing!!! its a totally normal pregnancy symtom!!! I wouldnt worry the mucus plug has srikes of blood in it! its also refered to as a Bloody Show! clear or white is normal! if its green or dark yellow or fowal smelling thats not normal and a sign of infection! I dont think its your plug though if its just white discharge! Most pregnant woman get that throught the whole pregnancy! You could Google "mucus Plug" or "Bloody Show" maybe that will help ease your mind ! you should probobly add the word pregnancy when you google! whos knows what will come up if you dont! LOL
