Homemade Macaroni and Cheese

I need a good recipe! The kind that's all nice andcheesey and delish that you bake. Anybody got a good one?

Home Made MacnCheese

2 cups Macaroni
3 Tbs butter
1/4 cup minced onion
2 Tbs Flour
1/2 tsp Salt
1/8 tsp Pepper
2 cups of Milk
2 cups of Shredded cheese



Boil elbow noodles in pot
Melt butter in med. sauce pan. Cook onion in butter until tender. Stir in flour, salt and pepper. Gradually add milk. Stir until thick..
Remove from heat. Add 1/2 cups of cheese. Stir until melted. Combine sauce and cooked macaroni in a casserole dish. Top with remaining cheese.
Bake 2 350 for 25 min.

It's for my baby shower this weekend. I must have mac and cheese haha. That sounds better than anything I've found!

I like to use chopped purple onions instead of minced and a mixture of velveta and sharp cheddar cheese.

I think I am a very strange person...I don't like homemade mac and cheese...I only like Kraft mac and cheese   hahahahaha

homemade mac and cheese just doesn't taste "right" to me  

I'll have to find my recipe for crock-pot mac & cheese. OMG, it's wonderful!!  

Mmm...when I make kraft I always add extra cheese to it. lol

I was thinking about mac and cheese earlier, and now that I've read this I really want some!
