working out during pregnancy...
posted 17th Jun
I talked to my dr, and she said it was totally safe, but gave me no guidelines. before i got pregnant, i was at 198, and lost down to 165, i have maintained that weight for 17weeks so far. i don't have a problem with gaining a little, but i want to be healthy. so today i went to the gym, i have heard that a bike is best, but it put too much pressure on my baby belly. so i just walked onthe treadmill the whole time, kinda boring! any ideas or maybe programs/videos that are safe for pregnancy?

My doctor told me that if I couldn't talk while excercising then I was overdoing it and to keep very well hydrated. Swimming is a really good exercise, it makes you feel pretty much weightless. No situps or anything abdominal. She also said that I should keep a day of not exercising in between. I walk a mile every other day.

i was told that other than walking the only thing i should do is swim, it exersices loads of muscles and your body is supported the whole time
