36 week dr appt

i had my 36 week dr appt today and it went pretty good. I am still at the same weight from last week. My group B strep came back negative. The dr spoke to the hospital and set my induction date for Thursday July 10th. Then he told me that he can already feel the babys head and that my cervix is already very thin and he doubts that I am even going to make it to July. He filled out a card for me to give to the nurses in L&D when I go into labor with my blood type, the fact that I am GBS and HIV neg, my weight, and his phone number. I'm so nervous that my fiance isn't going to be here when I go into labor. I am going to finish setting up the baby's room tonight or tomorrow and pack my bags. Here's a pic of me at 36 weeks.

Where is your BF going to be?

Did you ask to be induced? I would never ask unless its over 40 weeks + 5 days which is still within the full term period especially for a first-born.

I hope all goes well for you, I am due about the same time, baby is down low now too and saw my doc Monday this week and she never mentioned anything about induction but I will be seeing her every week from here on so she can monitor me and baby.

Nevada, he says he's not sure if his job is going to be giving him anything more than a week off work...so I asked the dr for an induction. Good luck to you as well and your belly is so cute and shiny LOL.
