HOW LONG DO YOU WAIT BEFORE HAVING SEX?????

I was wondering how long do you wait before having sex? I've waited long enough not having sex for 2 months now but that is only because i haven't seen my husband. He has been away on work and he is coming into town this weekend. I gave birth to my daughter on the the 9th of June got my tubes tied the next day. What do you ladies think??

I was pretty sure they make you wait 6 weeks before you have sex after having a baby.

Either way if you had stitches from an episiotomy you should at least wait until they have dissolved... That can be painful for the man parts. Ask your Dr.

Whenever you feel comfortable with it! They do say six weeks or until your pp checkup though.

Vaginal- 6 wks
C-section-8 wks
The reason to wait isn't because it will hurt, it's because the risk of infection is greater due to the fact that your body is trying to recover from the birthing process. If you had a c-section you can tear your abdominal muscles by having sex too soon. Talk to your dr before doing anything.

the hospital and my doc said 6 weeks. I was in sooo much pain with my episiotomy that after my 6 weeks checkup my doc said to wait it out a little more. Its better now,still sensitive.

my doctor said if your comfortable doing it you probably physically can.... like pain free anyway but idk a week and a half is kinda early i wouldn't before 3 weeks...
