Jesus Christ people why you being so mean..this is a serious issue and it can't possibly help the matter.

continue to talk to your therapist and you need to talk to your doctor as well because maybe there is some medication that is safe for you to be on.
you also need to talk very openly about your feelings and what you want to happen after the baby is born.
deciding while going thru a depression is never a good thing because it could be the depression talking...so it is very important you make your decision after taking time to think about it and treat the depression.

please please please talk to your doctor...there are many that can help...and there are services you can use to help in the case that you figure out what you want to do.

I would start looking for a different doctor. Call to the Labor and Delivery unit at Mercy and see if they have a referral for someone who specializes in PPD.
There are shrinks out there that specialize.

If his son just moved in with you, IMO you shouldnt be around kids at all if you dont want this baby. You need to seek help ASAP and give this baby to a family that actually wants it.

thanks, and I really have talked to the Doctors. I am open about everything. But because I come off sounding rational they think I will be fine. How I sound rational while telling them I want to die is beyond me, but thats what they say. They said they would only be worried if I wasnt concerned for the baby.

Seriously Ally you're a bitch. Calling her a freak was way out of line and not necessary. This poor girl is already feeling like shit and you probably made it worse. Everyone goes through their own issues and somed of us just have it a lot worse! To the OP I hope you keep getting help or figure something soon.

People are entitled to their feelings and when someone this sick is asking for support being negative isn't exactly helping. So saying she's crazy isn't helping. My boyfriend feels the exact same way you do. But i don't.... It's not the end of the world there are other options. I think if u say things rationally they won't sound so crazy!! Like giving ur rights away is fine especially if u think ur not going to benefit the childs life. But while it's in you at least be responsible for it and try to take care of it while it's in there so u can give him/her to someone who will want it. Just think of it this way... how would you feel if ur mom never gave birth to you?? At least give this baby a chance to live life.... I would say stay in therapy maybe someone hormone meds can help you stay calm or see if there are safe anxiety meds out there for pregnant ppl. Maybe there is prenatal depression like post pardom depression.
My sister is adopted from my aunt and i think we've given her a far better life than my aunt ever will. My aunt now has 5 kids and one let us adopt another one cuz her husband/ boyfriend doesn't want to the lose the extra food stamps... now imagine that!!
Don't worry you can get through this obviously not with ppl putting you down and calling u crazy but as far fetched as it sounds worse things could happen then having a baby!!!

I wnet thru a terrible depression and I was on suicide watch for a while...I really think that because of the help that I got..I am alive today.
so please find someone that WILL actually help you.

I just want to tell you that I know that it is hard thinking about being a mother. When I first found out I was pregnant, I was really upset and asking God why, not because I hated the baby inside of me but because I just didn't see myself being a mother. It took me like the first 3 months to just come to terms with myself and God, and realize that God doesn't make mistakes. I don't want to sound like some sort of preacher or something, but prayer works. Talk to God about this, tell the Lord how you feel, and let God lead you down the path that you are suppose to follow. Your 14 weeks, and you still have such a long way to go. You never know how you may begin to feel. Trying to figure this out on your own won't work, but believing in the power of God does, I promise!

ok, cant stress enough. I have no desire to harm any kids. Just myself. Its a new thing, never felt like this before
