blood preassure

my blood preasure is 80/70 is that weird?

not to me. my blood pressure USED to me 96/52 and my moms is 76/60 usually

That is alittle low. Did the nurse or doctor take it?

It's low but I was 85/62 today and I average about 90/70. Mine is always low (even before the babe), I get light headed sometimes, but nothing too great, If it is normally averageshigher I would worry.

machine i spelled it wrong. but yeah its usualy a little higher what can couse someones blood preassure to drop ?

Hmm... i'm not sure what can cause it to drop. I'm assuming a nurse was there with you? Did she tell you to lay on your left side or anything? Mine ran really low like that once but my sugar also was low too. That was only for one day. I was on bed rest and I layed on my left side it helped a lot.

Then toward the end of the pregnancy around 36 weeks it went through the roof. 15O/9O .... so it went from one extreme to the next.

There's typically a little more of a spread between the two numbers....so, yes I would say it's a little strange. They should have retaken it, if they didn't. It's not necessarily strange that it's that low....just the two numbers together. Sometimes automatic cuffs can be off and it needs to be retaken.

It doesn't seem too off to me. My BP is normally around 90/60 and can run even lower ...around 85/55. But I always run like that, so it's normal for me. This is pregnant and not pregnant. My BP is always on the lower side if I am calm and have been sitting/resting a while. If I am excited or worked up it can be 100/70. If it is abnormal for you- I would comment on it or let them know it concerned you and why. If they are not concerned, it may be nothing other than perhaps you were resting or relaxed when they took it. =0)

I'd monitor it if it's abnormal for you. My BP is usually low but since I got prego it's been higher and higher.   It was 180/82 two weeks ago.

omg i hope your doctor is doing something about that. thats scary blood pressure!
