Labor Story: (sorry if it sucks, I'm not a good writer)
I went to my doctors appt Tuesday morning where she checked me and stripped my membrones. I was already 3cm dilated. When I left I was in pain but don't really think it was labor. The conractions came and went some where consent but I decided to go to my son's father's house to see him since they were watching him for the day, when I got there the conractions stopped for a little bit expect for when I got up to walk I would be in pain. Finally around 4:30 or so I decided to leave and all the way home I was having extreme pain to the point that I was sweating and I realized they were conractions and they were coming six minutes apart, I could barely drive home. When I got there I could barely even walk inside and sit down I was in so much pain. I called my mom and told her to come take me to the hospital, luckily we live just a few blocks away. I arrived at the hospital around 5:20 and was 5 cm dilated when they checked me. They got me to a room and gave me drugs, which I was asking for from the moment I got there. Around 7:30 they broke my water and I was already 9 cm, a few minutes later I was pushing and at 7:47pm Aiden was born.

Yep had him in TC, I love the maternity ward here. It is like a hotel and you have the baby in the same room that you stay in so you aren't moved at all, it's really feakin nice. Plus the baby stays with you the entire time you are there.

the doc basically puts his finger in the cervix and sweeps around kind of removing the amniotic sac from the uterus around the cervix. it is suppose to help induce labor... but this is just what i have heard... i never had it done...

They didn't do it 3 yrs ago either when I had my son, it is a little painful but it defintaly helped get labor going and really the pain isn't that bad.
