non-breatfeeding mothers please!

OK, I couldent breast feed my baby because he is in the NICU and after three weeks of pumping I dryed up. So what im wondering is for the non breastfeeding mothers when did your first period come? I am just about six weeks PP ( not quite though) and I still havent had a period. I had some really really light pink discharge yesterday in the afternoon but today its totally and completely gone. I took a pregnancy test three days ago (because I have had unprotected sex like a dummy) and it was negitive but it says on the box to wait 19 days after having sex and its only been 15 from the first time. so IN A NUTSHELL when should you expet your period if your not breastfeeding?

I THINK it was just after 6 weeks, I breastfed for around 3 weeks.

I was one day shy of six weeks. And it was anything but light. [TMI] You would have thought the Hoover Dam of AF collapsed!

ok thanks that at least gives me a time frame. :-)))) My mom got hers in five but I know all women vary. So basically six weeks okies! thanks!

I breatfed for a little while, and then was pumping up until 7 weeks. Then I got my period right before I stopped pumping. then two weeks later I got another one  I'm pretty sure it was because of my stupid BC pills though. SOrry I'm no help 

its a little different for everyone I couldn't breastfeed because my milk never came in. But I think I got my period around Seven or Eight weeks.
