I gained 30 lbs during my pregnancy (120 to 150). After I delivered, I peed like I was holding in gallons of urine per sitting. In 2-3 days, my stomach was flat. After I pooped, my stomach got flatter. Being active after delivery kept me losing weight. Most of it is water retention, and everything that has swollen or enlarged in size eventually goes back soon after birth.
2 months should be enough to lose the water weight and exercise should get you back to normal ;)

I gained 24lbs the 2nd time & had NO swelling, so no extra water, & I had lost it all within the 1st week, but I also breastfed. With #1, I gained 55lbs & was majorly swollen, so by 2 months, I think I had only lost like 20lbs. Keep active as you can afterwards & try to keep your swelling down now, so you don't have to deal with it after. Also don't be scared to poop. It is not as bad as you think it will be & if you keep regular, the weight will come off faster b/c you won't be "stopped up". Even if you don't feel like you need to go, give it a try so you can help flush everything out. Just a few words of advice. Best of luck!

At 2 months PP, I had lost 32 out of the 38 lbs that I had gained. I did not do anything to exercise or try to lose it. I am breastfeeding though, so that must do wonders! Good luck!

Twomonths after my son was born I had lost the 10 lbs that I gained during my pregnancy and 10 more pounds, so at that point I was down 10 lbs from my pre-pregnancy weight.

I lost all of my weight and a few extra pounds within 3 weeks, but I didn't look like it for a while.

I gained way too much in my pregnancy...about 70 lbs...but I lost 40 of it in the first three weeks. I've lost another 10 since then, and I have 20 more to lose to get back to pre-pregnancy weight. And I haven't really been trying...I've been watching what I eat, but I haven't really been exercising because Cadence hasn't been letting me. But I'm planning on starting an exercise routine within the next month!
