does everyone really wait 6 weeks???

ok so its been 3 weeks sence i had my lil girl...now they say to wait 6 weeks before sex...but i dunno if i can wait any longer..lol...is it eally absolutly nessacary to wait that long?? anyone not wait??

we waited a week and a half!!! lol but i had a csection.... just make sure u use a condom if you do have sex earlier as the seman can irritate your parts!

I actually waited about 9 weeks, because I was scared it was going to hurt (which it did) and I was afraid of getting pregnant again.

I was scared to have sex before 6 weeks.

I waited 6 weeks both times

I waited excatly six weeks and it still hurt to the point that i cried. This time, I'm waiting longer

I waited a few weeks, and we did it...wasnt very pleasant, but we did do it.  

we waited 3 weeks and waiting those three weeks were hell...i couldn't wait any more

I waited 4 months lol. No, I waited 6 weeks and we still have only had sex maybe 4 times...Ive lost my interest in sex

I would just wait until the 6 weeks is over..you have 3 more weeks....you can wait...

I waited 6 weeks with my first but my recovery was alot harder than my second son. I would wait if you arent recovering well and because you had a C-section

I'm at the third week.. Still haven't done it.. the only thing we did was.. other alternatives  

Oh god I couldn't even think about sex until about 3 months after Kaleb was born.... Maybe everything we both went through was my reason for sex decline, but I swear it wasn't until this last month that I got my sex drive back! The nurse told me on discharge absolutely no sex until 6 weeks or it can cause a very serious infection that can cause you to not be able to have anymore kids or even more serious.... If I were you I would wait it our a few more weeks!

I didn't wait the whole time. I think only about 4 weeks with both of them. It felt really awckward at first, but it wasn't that bad.
