Dark red bood at almost a month PP

So my bleeding had tapered off and I was barely bleeding at all. Now starting yesterday I have started bleeding heavily with dark red blood. Before that it was a tiny bit of brown here and there. I'm kind of worried...is this normal?

Could it be your period already? I know that my bleeding would slow down and pick back up but I don't really remember the color or anything...I pretty much stopped bleeding at 3 weeks pp. Dang now I can't even remember when I got my first period I think a little after my 6 week check up, but everyone is different!

I'm just confused because I thought if you breast fed you wouldn't get your period for a while. I also don't have any other period symptoms either and before pregnancy I got pretty bad PMS

Yeah usually if you breastfeed you won't get your period for quite a while..I"m not sure if that is with everyone or not though.

That is really weird.. I know with breastfeeding you don't get your period for even up to a year...

Maybe you're not one of them.. or maybe placenta left over.. not sure how you call it.. You should tell the doctor at the appointment.. or call..

  my pp bleeding did not completely stop until almost 8 weeks after adison was born (c section and I was bf'ing if that makes any difference).  It did taper off and then pick up, or stop for a couple days and start again.  It sounds normal to me, but definitely ask at your appointment tomorrow.
