I want to be enduced so my in-laws can be here, but im scared it will make labor more difficult. Anyone who wants to tell me their story is very welcome to! I appreciate any insight i can get!

You doctors usually wont INDUCE you until you are overdue!  

Plus your due-date can be 2 weeks give or take off, so why don't you wait till your bub is ready?

w/my son, I went into labor naturally and it took me over 26 hours to deliver him.
W/my daughter, I was induced and everything from beginning to end was 6 hours and Pushed for 10 mins

some doctors will induce upon request between 28-40 weeks. Mine wouldm't but, i kknow several women wgo were 28 weeks and their dr induced at their request.

I was induced with my daughter...i only lasted 3 hours then had a c section. When are you wanting to have the baby. You still have a month. I wouldnt think the doctor would unless something was wrong or your over due.

i was induced 10 days overdue. I was in labor for 23 1/2 hours.... it wasn't fun.

I would NEVER opt to be induced, I would just wait it out. I waited as long as my doctor felt safe and then at 10 days past my due date he didn't feel I should continue any longer.

I think inducing is worse bc of that damn foley cath and you cant be comfortable in the early stages bc your in the hospital instead of at home... when I got to the hospital to be induced {2 weeks overdue} I was already having what they considered big contractions but I didnt know it, I couldnt feel them, and then I got the cath and pitocin and didnt sleep or anything until she was born at 6:39 am the next morning .... mind you I couldnt have anything but phenegran and stadol the whole time either that could have played a role in the comfort area. lol

I think you should only be induced for only medical reasons or for deployed fathers who can only make it around a certain time frame.

The hospital here on post is exactly like that... except for the deployed dad's thing/

i was induced at 10 days overdue. IThey broke my water at 11am, I had him at 6.50pm. I did not need any gel or pitocin. Once my water was broken it was game on.

28 weeks? That is fucking ridiculous. I don't believe that at all.
