Faylynn update

so we took her down to Children's Memorial ER last night because the pin in her gum came completely out.
well we kind went up there for nothing, Dr. T is outta town so one of his partners came in and saw us and said it was secure and it doesn't seem like it'll fall out anytime soon.
but he doesn't do anything with the device Dr. Chevarria does, and you'll never guess what! she's outta the country
so tomorrow i'm gonna start calling her office to see if she's back.
but Dr. T is out for another week.
so we can't turn it to expand it because it'll only pull one side back.
so this whole problem is pissing me off, because i don't want her to be in more pain then she already is and she might need the NAM to stretch her lip.
she's prolly gonna be in for surgery again like this week or the next.
i just hope she'll have no memory of this when she gets older, because i know this is traumatizing for her.

but on a lighter note, she's gonna be 6 wks old tomorrow!!!
i'm gonna post some pictures of her later.
also, she's 9 lbs. 4 oz. and last tuesday she was only 8 lbs 12 oz!
i'm so excited that she's finally gaining alot more weight.

Aww, I'm sorry you're having to deal with that, and your poor baby too =( Just think, when she's older she'll be glad that you did everything possible to get it taken care of.

i just hatte the fact that if it would've been placed right in the first place then it wouldn't have come out!
now shes going in for a surgery that wouldn't have to happen if the Dr. would pull her head outta her ass.

Oh Mama she’s just beautiful… my mothers best friends son was born with an open clef and pallet, the doctors were so amazing you can’t tell unless your looking for it… he is 4 now! Good luck Mama!!

Screw what people say she is beautiful.People did the same thing to my baby and i yelled at them and i told them to stfu.And people always asked when is he going to get that fixed??And I was like when are you going to get your face fix.Cuz it really made me mad.My boyfriend's family did that alot and now they dont see him and they didnt see him after his surgery either.So it doesnt matter what anyone else says it only matters what you think of your baby.She is so adorable and no one can say different.

how's little Noah doing?

He's doing good.And we did his birthday yesterday but his real birthday isnt until tomorrow.He had such a good time.How is Faylynn doing?

she's good, she went in for emergency surgery last night, but she also had to have a chest x-ray because we thought she had swallowed a pin. well we took her up to pre-op and the x-ray came back showing that she didn't swallow it.
they took her back and removed the device.
we had to stay overnight to be observed.
they did a blood test for her white blood cell count.
it came back normal!!!
no infection!!
i was so happy  
but we still have to give her the antibiotics.
now, we're just taping her mouth.
