I'm cancer free, but losing my thyroid and parathyroids is a life long hassle - lots of pills and doc appts. I'm a little nervous with the pregnancy, but my thyroid doc has been really reassuring.

same here i was always amy p i hated it i never answered to it, when the teacher said amy p and i didnt answer i told her that was not my name i was amy victoria parker not amy p! i was a bad kid

I had my thyroid removed in April '06 because I had Graves disease the docs were worried would develop into thyroid cancer. I found out I was pregnant a year after the surgery and gave birth to a healthy baby boy Jan. of this year. The only problems I had were getting my hormone levels regulated, when they werent regulated I had horrible all day sickness until about week 25 or so. You will be great and the baby will be great!!!
