FINALLY!! Say hi to... *pics*

So I was having irregular contractions that started on the 4th of June, slowly building up over the days. Saturday morning I woke up at 5.15pm in agony with a contraction that lasted 3 minutes. OUCH! They were getting ridiculously sore and lasting ages, so we went to the hospital at 9am and was only a 2cm so was sent home to wander around. But the hospital is far from my house so we just stayed there and sat in a waiting roomy type bit, where attractivley my waters broke on one of the chairs! It was quite funny really...
So we went back in at 12.20pm and was admitted. Got me some gas and air, which was just darn awesome! But her wee heartrate was dipping after contractions for 10 mins so I wasnt allowed to go in the bath, which sucked. So I had a clip put on her head which felt weird hangin outta there!
My contractions werent doing much so I had a drip put in and they arranged an epidural as I was getting some make contractions come faster stuff. I wasnt really wanting an epidural, but the midwife said Id be screaming for one 5 mins after the drip was started.
It took the anesthetist over 1 1/2 hours to get to me though and the midwives were less than pleased cuz by then I was in a LOT of pain and they hadnt started the drip yet! Finally got my epidural at about 5.30pm, and had to get double strength cuz I was feeling a pain in my right hip and back.
So I hung out for a bit until 9.20pm when the midwife checked me and I was 10cms!!! HUZZAH!!
She said I would be allowed to push in an hour as they were gonna let the contractions push her head down a bit further. So 10.20pm came I started pushing and after an hour of pushing a suction cap and a nice episiotomy little Skye popped into the world "bawing and greeting" as her daddy likes to say

Aww she's so beautiful I'm glad everything went well. Oh and lol on the water breaking bit can you immagin having to clean that up?

First of all... I see nipple on that first picture. lol.
2nd, you got the drip afterall, huh? I had mine in the hand, which was awful. But the epidural was so worth it.
Isn't the breaking of waters the most AWKWARD feeling?!

And... she is so beautiful. You guys did a great job.
