How am I supposed to clean my baby's ears?

The dr's told me to NEVER use a QTip in her ears, but I can't seem to effectively clean them with a facecloth. I think my girl's gonna grow potatoes in her ears if I can't do a better job of cleaning them! I can see the wax build-up in her ear canal but I can't get to it without a QTip! What the heck am I supposed to do?!

Anyone have any suggestions?!

they have baby Qtips. Thats what I have used ever since he was born. Those are ok to use.

you can clean it around the edge with a q-tip.. just don't go in the ear with it.. and actually, no one is supposed to be stickin' q-tips IN their ears.. lol i learned that the hard way! I had to get my right ear irrigated b/c i would swim & then q-tip my ears.. it impacted my ear.. hurt like hell!! good luck though =)

They have baby Qtips designed fora babies ear!

they have baby q tips that have like a bumper so u cant go in too far.

my mom loves to clean her ears with a q tip. i hate when she does it because she closes her eyes and has a big goofy smile on. and a few times she got the cotton stuck in her ear lol. had to go to the hospital.

This is what a Baby Qtip looks like.

Our dr told us not to use those either. But rather to take a cotton ball and roll a small bit of it so it basically is like a qtip. Havent tried it yet, so I don't know how it works.

I also use the baby q-tips. They work great for getting the grime out of his ears. The hospital told me they were ok to use. I've never asked my doctor about them.

Ive never had an issue with baby Qtips.
