breastfed babies pooping...

my daughter is 5 weeks old...she only poops about every two or three days...does any one elses baby do that...she is breastfed only...the doctor said she can go up to ten days without pooping and the longest shes gone is eight...

My son did that alot when he was little...I got kinda scared at first, but the dr said its common with breastfed babies.

My son went alot for the first month or two then he just stoped.

All babies are different, just like adults. ALl my kids went several times a day, but if your doctor isn't concerned, I wouldn't be either. :-)

my son is 6 days old and breastfed and he poops like 6 times a day! haha maybe it slows down when then get used to it? if th doc says its ok, im sure it is!

thank you so much for all of your feedback...yeah the doctor isnt really concerned i just wanted to see if any other moms were going through what i was...she gets so cranky and doesnt sleep when she has to go...i feel so bad for her i wish i could do something for her...
