First haircut

This is going to sound really sad,but i cried when my daughter had her first hair cut last week.shes nearly 4 and she really needed the trim because her baby curls at the bottom kept getting really bad knots in them.her hair is very fine so i would spend up to 20 mins everyday just trying to get all the knots out.pleased to say though,it only takes bout 5mins now(without struggling lol) and it does look very cute now its been trimmed

Aw congrats. My son is 2 and I'm tramatized. He was bald up until he was like 1 and a half so I'm scared that if I get his hair cut, it'll never grow back lol. Plus I haven't found a hairdresser I hate enough to put her through the trauma of actually getting Landon to sit still. lol.

Did you save some of the hair for her baby book?

i got the hair dresser to save the curls as she cut them off.there was no way i was just going to let go in the bin lol.it was just another reminder that my lil girl is growing up

My son needs a haircut really bad, but I'm scared to get in cut. It's not so much that I'm afraid he will get hurt, but that it's a piece of his infancy being lost! I'm sure I will be crying too once I finally get up the nurve...
