the first couple days it is usually just colstrum, if he goes into the NICU the nurses depending on how he is doing *my son was almost 36 weeks, and I was able to go in there and breastfeed while I was at the hospital myself) will let you go in there and feed him. You will be able to feel when your milk comes in, and there are lactaction nurses there to help tell ya what to do

thats why i had my son early My waterbroke and they said you have to have this baby today because your prone to infection. your dr is crazy for even letting you go home!

There was a post today about someones water broke and over a month later the baby was born....I was AMAZED....check it out

no, im at the hospital. but he didnt wanted deliever my baby right away because he only weight 3lbs 7 oz. i think he's crazy for letting me wait that long to have my baby.. i had 2 blood test and the white blood count were "elevated'??? one nurse told me that it meant that i had an infection but then my doctor's assistant told me that it was due to the steroids.. also my doctor in on vacation. does that sound weird?? oh and they gave me a vaginal cream for infection.. i think that it's BS..

I'm confused. So I'm guess you had your baby. But this thread was posted yesterday and it says you're due tomorrow...which would mean your baby was on time and not premature.   I'm lost here, some one help me!

I have a 28 weeker and a 30 weeker, both doing fabulous =)

I had my daughter at 35 weeks due to preeclampsia and she was 5lbs 13 oz. She had a little trouble eating but she went home when I did. She is now 2 and she has developed normally.

i changed my due date because i was going to be induce.. i was originally due on july 20th

awww. that's good.. im happy that your daughter did well..

oh i had my baby on wedsnesday, i was on pitocine for two days, monday and tuesday and on wed. my doctor decided to put a little pill on my cervix because i wasnt dilating at all.
i had to have a c- section because my baby's heart rate droped. my baby was born on wednesday at 2:46. i will post.
