really getting sick over here!! need some help! advise pleas

i know i posted something like this befor, but nothing is really working for this constipation i have! i'm waiting for my doc to call back! i'v tried fruit, alot of water, medimucil, thats it!!! can anyone recomend anything, this is really bothering me! its been about a week sence anythings happend! i'm hurting! its actually starting to make me sick! if theres something else anyone could tell me please please let me know! i keep hearing its normal at the beginning of pregnancy, i'm 8weeks! and i honestly think its the pre-vits that are doing this to me!! its been bad like this sence i'v been taking them! any advise PLEASE???? my doc should be calling me tomorrow or the next day the office said, if it gets too much go to the e.r, they will give you something they said!!! i really dont want to do that!!

Phenergan, and zofran were always lifesavers. If you throw up too much, you can get severely dehydrated and thats bad for you and baby. So if it does get bad, go to the ER!

i'm not throwing up alot!! i do at least once a day from morning sickness but thats it! so those things you mentioned are for constipation and are safe to take when pregnant?

those are for morning sickness. I didnt realize you had bad consipation. For that I would really suggest some oatmeal, and maybe applesauce.

Because of my being severely sick for the first 14 weeks, my doctor did not have me taking pre-natal vitamins, she had me taking Flintstones Vitamins (you know, the kid stuff)...She said they're pretty much the same thing, just not as hard on the system...I'm actually still taking them because I'm afraid to take the pre-natal vitamins and start feeling horrid again (doc said I can stay on them if I want).

When I was constipated I was taking 100% fiber pills, the grocery store brand. Within 24 hours of taking them I felt much better and by week 12, constipation was completely gone and I no longer needed the fiber pills (I have a bottle of 165 fiber pills that'll I'll probably never use, which stinks).

Colace worked wonders for me

yea the morning sickness has gotten alot better, its only the constipation now thats literally making me sick! I'v tried oatmeal, i ate it for 4days in a row didnt do anything at all! Food isnt gonna cut this!! i would use prunes or peach syrup or grape fruit juice and drink a good bit if ur able to only if u want to but those things are to flush u out also cranberry juice

i also used colace after i had my first kid and it worked but i'm not sure if u can take it while u are pregnant try and find out

Actually, I found 100% fiber pills at Weis (one of our grocery store chains). Yes, they're fine to take when your preggo. And PLEASE, I have so many of these things I'd just GIVE them to you!   I actually only took them for a week before my body went back to normal and no more constipation, and I took half the daily dose because their huge horse pills.
