question about IUD removal

I am having my IUD removed on Thursday  . I was wondering if it hurts as bad having it removed as it does when they put it in? Were not TTC I'm just having really bad cramps on a daily basis for well over a month now   I wish I had never gotten it in the first place, it has been nothing but trouble for the last 7 months.

My sister has the iud and she said she's heard it's a little bit worse but then she said hers didn't hurt getting put in.

didnt hurt at all. alittle uncomfy, thats all.

Are you getting the mirena(sp)or the copper t? I have the copper one and it has been nothin but trouble from the start.

probably the copper..I dont know..I just knwo that im getting fitted for it soon..but now im scared..and I cant take the shot anymore because of the meds im on... 

That sucks. Hopefully it will go better for you   I'm thinking of trying a diaphragm, I can't take anything with hormones cause they make me crazy and fat lol I'm going to talk it over with my Dr.

i've heard bad things about paramore. i heard it causes bad cramps and bad periods. why dont you try mirena?

I can't handle any hormones at all. I get like psycho emotional   and gain at least 30 lbs. It is wack lol, I guess my mom was the same way.

I had the merina for 1 year after I had my first child. For one year I had stabbing pains and heavy cramps on and off. I finally broke down and had it taken out...i just couldnt handle those pains anymore.

It hurt taking it out, exactly how it did putting it in. Pinched really really bad for a couple seconds.

Good luck mama. I wished I had never gotton it either. But then, I have a friend who has never had a problem with hers. everyone is so different.
