Increased BM normal????

posted 13th Jun
Hi everyone, I know this is a really personal question but I just turned 30 weeks and I have been having significantly increased bowel movements for the last like 4 days. Is this normal when you are in your third trimester? I am just wondering if it's just me or what. I will probably address this issue with my Doc next Tuesday when I go back.

I have been having that symptom for pretty much my entire pregnancy. I go like twice a day most days!!! In my case, I assume it's because I am eating so much lately...

I've heard of this happenig late in the pregnancy right before the baby comes as a way of "cleaning out" your body. However, 30 weeks is too early for that. Is is something you're eating??

no, it has happened to me..
I experienced sever constipation with both of my previous pregnancies, and with this one it has been the complete opposite. My doctor says its not a problem as long as its not runny and I dont go more than twice. He says to just be thankful, im not at the other end of the spectrum and cant poo at all.

I just turned 30 weeks and have been experiencing the same. I know its not what Im eating as I eat a certain list of things and very unoften anything otherwise. Perhaps its from lack of room as the baby gets bigger? That is my guess.

I am not really sure, I haven't changed my diet at all recently. That's why I am a little worried. At first I was worried that maybe I caught a bacterial virus from some food I ate, but I am not sure. I really hope I am not about to go into labor this early.....

Okay, thanks yall. That makes me feel a little better about the situation. It didn't really occurr to me that it could be less room because the baby's getting bigger..... that makes a lot of sense though...
