just registerd for my baby shower

my baby shower is june 21st and yesterday i registerd at target and walmart and babydepot at berlington.
do you think i should have registerd somewhere else?
im so exscited about my baby shower but im afraide no one will show up i would be so disapointed if that happend !!!!

my mom and sil and mil are haveing dinner right now planing stuff for the shower im nervouse couse im a bit of a controll freek and they wont let me in on any thing which im sure is fine couse its for me...im jsut crazy i guess.

how far in advance did you send out your invites my sil just sent them out today for the 21st...

i didnt thnk that registering at 2/3 diff places was necssary; but thats just my opinion. i only registerd at walmart. and i have that same fear that noone will show up too 

I just had mine last weekend. I registered at Babies R Us. They had a nice selection of things. As far as people not showing up... there may be some flakey people. They day before my shower I received a few text messages and myspace emails from "friends" who suddenly couldn't come. It made me a little sad, but I still had a lot of people there who cared and were truely hppy for me. Just focus on the good stuff

i love target but i have a side of my family that wont shop their boycoting it. and then their is the family outside of town and people who cant aford berlington so walmart. make sience? did walmart today they didnt have very much actualy i was quite disapointed

just gotta becareful what you register because you dont want to register 3diff strollers at 3diff places you know
but i think walmart is pretty nice; i just got like basic stuff.

I registerd at Babies R Us and Walmart. I only registered at Walmart for the same reason you did.. some of my family cannot afford Babies R Us prices.

Anyways.. I am having my baby shower 1 month before I am due.. and the invitations were sent out 3 weeks earlier. Don't send them out too early because people will throw them away and forget about them... but don't send them out too late because people will make other plans.. like vacations...

I registered at Babies R Us and Target. It worked out very well! I sent out my invitations 6 weeks in advance...but I also have a lot of out of town family that needed time to prepare travel arrangements.

Im having mine in early aug but i feel like i have so much to do so ive registerd at babies r us last night. I think i might also register at walmart and that will be about it. I only picked out the items i want people to buy me, Althought sometimes people dont even buy the things you want and just show up with a bunch of clothes and random stuff so..to make sure i get the things i really need im just going to go out and buy those items myself.

I am scared some people wont show up either because gas is so expenisve and i dont even have a place picked out yet.

So im hoping for the best.

and i would say send out your invites a month early.

my friends who threw my shower were tight on cash so they just myspace messaged everyone to let them know when and where. or called them. no inivtes were mailed out. also i only had like 10 people invited so it wasnt that big of a deal.

if there is a Babies R Us near you, you should go there and register just because they give you a free gift when you register in the store and a 10 dollar gift card for you to use on whatever you want. but you have to register in store to receive it!

I did walmart and babies r us , I did wal mart as oppossed to target cuz they were the ONLY place that had Disney Princess things (crib bedding etc.). Im due July 16, and my MIL is thowing me a last minute shower fer her side on the 21st (a lot of her fam is in another town) and my MAIN shower is on the 28th.
But the only thing that I'm nervous about is peoples comments on my belly. EVERYONE who works in my building ALWAYS says , 'Oh, I dont think you'll make it til July..." BUT I feel great, I dunno I think I'm jusss letting them get to me . -If my baby wants to come before July, then I will keep her in there til June 29th !!!!

I am only 11 weeks along and I am already freaking out about a baby shower! Mostly because I just found out that my husband(military) recieved orders to go overseas for a little over a year (I am going with) and I have to have my baby overseas. Is it tacky to have an early baby shower? I'm due the end of december, and we have to leave at the end of september, so I was thinking maybe having the shower the begining of sept? I should/hoping to find out the sex in august. My mom is all about throwing me one, and I am extremely gratefull for that! lol Now We just have to figure out how its all going to go down...because we are stationed in DE, origionally from northeastern PA, and a big chunk of my hubby's family lives 2 hours away. I've got a headache already....

PS - I was planning on Walmart and Babies 'r' us. I'd do Target instead of walmart, if there was one around the area where the baby shower is going to be. I love target!
