Trust.

Oh what a difficult thing to do!

So my BF of 2 years is going to the US open in San Diego this weekend.
Prior to him and I, he lived in San Diego with another girl [for 1 1/2 years]. Then, his dad died so he moved back to the bay area,left the chick and started dating me. His life in San Diego was one big party and hes totally a different person now.But...
I'm crazy, so him going back for a weekend is killing me. Ijust dont want him to be anywhere near his 'old life', whether that be an ex or any place he used to go party. He knows this and tries to reassure me that he loves me and would never do anything to hurt me. BUT, I'm still annoyed. His brother bought him the flight ticket and the ticket to the golf thing, as a gift, thats why he is going in the first place. Its not that I think he wouldcheat with an ex or something, I just wouldnt want him to run into one of them and if he did, I would worry about how he would handle it....like being too friendly.

I know things happen and you cant control everything but how do I get over this? Is anyone else as crazy as I am??

It's hard to put all of your trust in someone, but with time it'll happen. I've been with my husband for 7 years & trusting him wasn't always easy (even though he had never done anything to violate my trust!) Just always be honest with him, if you're worried...talk to him about it, ask him to make sure he calls you during the day, and ect.

Calm down!! My goodness!! Why would you want to be with a man you cannot trust first off! Don't act that desperate. Do you really think he is that weak? I had and ex b/f that acted crazy like that!! Like I had no self control over what I did at all! It was really annoying and belive me if you continue to act so paranoid he will eventully get tired of it and leave you OR you might just drive him to cheat. Just get over it, really you will have a much better realationship if you do.

your not crazy, im exactly the same so if you are then so am i lol.
im paranoid about everything. even him taking my daughter to school as ther is a woman he new before we met that has a child in the same school.
we met online so if he is talking to a girl on the computer i sit as close to him as possible to see what is being said.

sometimes i dont know how he puts up with me but he understands ive been cheated on in the past so im extra sensitive to it etc.

How long have you been together?

not long alomst 10 months. we moved in together after 1 month got engaged after 2 and got pregnant after 6 so everythings been quite quick.

reading your story was making me cringe. that would drive me ABSOLUTELY insane. As a matter of fact i would probably demand i had to go too. lol. I know completely unreasonable. 
I usually travel everywhere with my husband. He has to travel a lot for business and stay away for a week sometimes and i usually have always gone. I was able to do it because i was self-employed. He works in the entertainment industry so it is much more lax than other businesses and people were totally cool with it. plus i love to travel so it made sense. What I am going to do now i have no idea. He's already had to go away twice and I couldn't go because i'm preggo. I'm learning that there isn't anything i can do. if he really wants to cheat that badly then he will whether i stalk him or not.

You are right, I try to think about it that way too. I figure he knows he shouldnt screw things up with me, we have too much of a good thing going-but still. I guess its a little bit of insecurity and its really bad because I'm pregnant.
