Just Venting (random pointless post)

T-minus 5 days and counting until my aunt is out of here! No more finding my bottles of wine empty in the trash. No more going to use a dish after she's "cleaned" it only to find it greasy and still with bits of food on it. No more smoke smell all over my furniture where she sat. No more food being eaten after I've specifically told the purpose I have for it. No more unflushed toilets (so gross). No more having to put on pants to use the bathroom in the middle of the night. No more random people showing up at my house at 8 freaking AM (her social worker had the great honor of feeling my early morning wrath). No more finding out that she mistook my basal thermometer for a thermometer she can use on her daughter... rectally. No more being called at work because her she needs to know if she should talk to her boyfriend about where their relationship is going.

I am soooo done with this. I don't think I will ever be able to be truly nice to her ever again. In five days she will be out and I will be the happiest person alive. But until then... fmfl.

It's hard to live with extended family and keep a good relationship.

  wow. is she younger than you or something? that sounds like a lot to deal with! how long has she lived there? i lived with BIL and it was a lot like this so i totally understand!

I think it'd be easier if she wasn't an idiot. She's on disability so she doesn't work. She sits around my house like a bum, acting like a freaking teenager, throwing a tantrum when someone hurts her feelings, leaving a mess everywhere, constantly asking me for money, and wants to show or tell me about every little thing she does. Oh, I made tea. Oh, so while you're at work I'm going to make chicken alfredo with the chicken, noodles, and alfredo sauce you bought. Do you want a drink at 11am? It's chocolatey, so I don't feel like the alcoholic I am.

Sorry... I'm normally not this pissy. I am just way tense with all this right now.

I kwym... and I was going to prepare the house and everything for her so I could prepare mentally... until she showed up and just decided to move in early. So this didn't even start well. I keep having nightmares that she doesn't get into her new place and has to stay with me permanently and DS becomes a psycho serial killer.

It's ok. That is the light side of it. I really could turn my life into a show right now. Of course the season finale would end with me string her up by her toenails on the tree outside. lol
