Cough medicine

Has anyone heard about or given their lo's zaxbees cough syrup? It says its for 12mo and up and its made of honey. My lo will be one next month but im kind of nervous to give it to her because of the honey and the botulism toxin thats in it. CAn anyone give me some info on this or experiences youve had with it...

it is from what Ive read. Thats why your not supposed to give babys honey under a year along with it being to thick to digest and all that. It can cause paralysis and all kinds of stuff but I wonder if regular honey and a cough syrup with honey would have the same risks..

I personally wouldn't give it to her. Try baby vicks on the feet with socks on.  

The honey "cough syrup" is pretty much just honey. DS had a horrible cough and we got the little tummies honey remedy cough stuff. It helped for a little while, but not for long. DS wasn't a year yet when we gave that stuff to him but we were giving him small doses and once we realized it wasn't working we stopped it.

I wouldn't give it, use a humidifier, vicks, and prop the head of the bed up on books or something.
