I need a break

Its been a long stressful month and I really need a break. But my mom has been sick for 3 weeks and isn't up to watching the kids. Next weekend is easter so I can forget about getting a break then as well. This is the longest I have ever went with out at least one of my kids being gone. A whole month come april 1. It would be so bad if my youngest would just let me sleep at night.

Thanks. I need sleep. DS2 has kept me up almost every night this week. His dad stayed up with him one night but he kept waking me up asking me stuff and stomping around and the baby would wake me up crying before he woke up when he did fall asleep  . So you might as well say I haven't really slept at all this week.

Sorry your mom isn't feeling well and LO isn't sleeping well.

You're VERY lucky to typically get a kid-free night at least once a month tho. The only time I've been totally kid-free since May 2006 was the 4 days I was out of state for work (and that was in May 2010). Oh, and the 2 nights I was in the hospital after my c/s with #2 (October 2008; she was in a different hospital).

Are you serious? A month really I wish someone would go that for me I have mine 24/7 and Their Dad does not take them ever he doesn't even see them.

yeah I know I am spoiled like that lol. I mean I have went way longer with at least one of my kids being home with me but 1 is way easier to deal with than 3. My mom typically keeps the kids (or 1 or 2 of them depending on what is going on) at LEAST every other weekend for me so I can relax and she can visit with them. She is a true blue grandmother I give her that. She loves keeping them and love spoiling them lol. She said today she wanted to keep them next week end because she is starting to feel better but with it being Easter that isn't going to happen.

Uhh, men are helpless...didn't you know? Lol. Even when DH gets up with DS I still can't sleep. Like you said, you hear everything. So, you might as well just get up with them yourself.

I haven't had a break in 13.5 months lol really longer then that. Lol
I hear ya, I really need one soon I'm loosing my mind lately and completely exhausted  

My oldest does not see her dad or his family often 2 times a yr if that, so even when the other 2 go to their dads 1 day a month for 4 hrs I still don't get a break really. I have yet to have a night away from my 13.5 month old ever.
