My 4 year old makes me sad...

Well he will be 5 in July.
All day today he has been really distant with me and he usually is so nice and loving with me. It's really breaking my heart. He doesn't even want to look at me longer than a few seconds. I am giving him his space but I do poke my head in his room every so often to see if he wants to play, read, talk, or even just eat and he just tells me to leave him alone  

I feel like he just hates me today....

  Awh man... that's no fun. My son will be 5 in August, but he's still super lovey dovey. I'm sure it's just a today thing. Maybe he's tired?

Awhh, don't feel bad! Just take this opportunity to take a nice bath and read a book.  

if it's only today, or a day here and there, i wouldn't worry about it, it's just their mood.
it will get better and they will be back to normal. my youngest has a new thing were she comes up and rubs her head on me and says mommy over and over and says I want you mommy. its so sweet and she usually plays on her own the best, versus my 4 yr old and she is almost 3.
