White spot in the mouth

My son has two white spots on his gums that I just noticed. He is only 3 weeks old so I assume this can't be the start of teeth lol. My mentioned that it might be thrush...Should I be worried? What else could this be?

try taking a damp washcloth and wipe off his mouth and gums to see if it comes off.

It could be thrush. a yeast infection of the mouth. very common. If it doesn't come off with a damp washcloth then you could go to a health food store and buy some gentian violet. It's an at home remedy that works well for treating thrush. You just brush it onto the spots in their mouth. Just be very careful what they are wearing when you use it cause it will ruin their clothes. Hope that helps
