My cat left me a present

You know how cats show there appreciation by bringing you birds and mice and moles and such. Well, sure I appreciate the gesture, but tonight it made me a little sad. My cat brought me a baby rabbit. We've seen the mother around, but I didn't know there were babies. It did remind me that I'll need to protect my melon plants this year, a rabbit ate all of my son's melon plants last year.

But it's kinda cute she brought you a present.  

My cat brought me 3 baby bunnies once, with certain parts taken from them.

and the most disturbing present she brought us was 2 birds feet, no bird, no body, just the feet.

My indoor cats are vicious kids socks and stuffed animal hunters. LOL

yeah, she woke SO up at 4 am the other night asking to be let out, I think she was trying make up for upsetting him.   SO really likes his sleep.

that is a little disturbing, lol, I've gotten a tail before. Still not sure if it was a mouse or a mole.

That reminds me of when my cat had kittens, when the kittens were about a month old, I saw one of them playing with what I thought was a play mouse, throwing it up in the air and watching it fall, doing this over and over, until I realized it was a real mouse still alive, but once I made the kitten stop playing with it, it moved a little bit then fell over and died, the poor thing.

oh yeah I have gotten a tail before too, guess there isnt much flavor in the tails or feet.

My moms cat likes to bring half dead birds in......I never knew a half dead bird could still fly. Most disturbing last flight ever....it ended when the bird flew into a mirror. I cried for at least an hour. My dad had to clean it because I was seriously traumatized over it. :/

My cat killed a bird right in front of me and she tried to bring it in and I wouldnt let her, so she proceeded to eat it in front of me, I walked away QUICKLY

Yuck. That's why my cat is an indoor cat >.<

I still remember the time my cat brought a mouse in the house as a gift, she dropped it right at my feet. I was about to go get a paper towel to pick it up and it got up and ran under my washing machine!!! It took me over 3 weeks to catch it and release it out in the farthest field. My kids drop too many snacks on the floor, it makes it hard to tempt a mouse into a trap when there are so many easy pickings, and I seriously do not have time to clean up all there crumbs as soon as they make them. grrr....
