OP, I wasnt 100% when I got my abortion. I think you need to think and think about yourself and what you can handle. If you want to get an abortion, then get one. But make sure that you are doing it FOR YOURSELF. NOT ANYONE ELSE!

I will say..yes you made a mistake by not telling him you stoped birth control. However, it does not change the fact that he is being a complete butt about it. You admit you messed up that's done with. Now forget about him, forget about the world and focus on the thoughts of you and your daughter, think about finances, how it would work etc. Then weigh the good and bad, and whatever your gut is telling you, I would do that. Either option is goibg to suck a bit..but which one is best for YOU.

Mallory, don't do it unless you're 100000% because this is something that REALLY sucks to regret. You're only 7 weeks.. you have a couple more weeks to be sure. I've read through your responses- He is gone either way, right? So you just need to decide if this is something you can do. I have 2 kids with 2 different fathers and it's not that bad. Reading through your last thread, you seem so happy about being pregnant! If you decide to have the abortion, make sure it's your choice and your choice only. Don't let anyone else sway your decision.

I'd just like to say that you ladies have helped me tremendously. I have so many supportive PM's on BG and on FB that I can't even read through them all.

Although the thought is till going through my head, I feel a lot less anxious and a whole lot less sad. I've began to realize that the only time I really REALLY consider abortion, is after talking to BD. He is swaying my decision so much, that I have decided to block his number.. who knows for how long yet... but I just really need to think with a clear mind. Do some research. Write out all my feelings. Just think about ME and DD.

I'm glad you're blocking his number, you don't need him in your life right now. It's a good idea to keep your life focused on you and your kids.  

When I had my abortion there was absolutely.no doubts in my mind that I wanted to have it done (abusive man who I already had a.chold with and I was 17) and I have never regretted my decision other than the fact that my son was an onky child.for 12 years but that was just a regret for him not me. If I would have had second thoughts im sure it would have been a much much more difficult process. I think you should give it some.time and make.sure this is truly ehat you want to do because if.you have.any apprehension that.could turn into regret later. I feel for you I have a friend in your exact situation right now, has a daughter, 10wks pg, dad says she must get.abortion. In her.case.she.wants to keep it but the.dad has been so mean and left her that she is.considering terminating. I personally would only do it if it was MY choice. Dont let the man make.choice.for.u. At least OP is unsure of what SHE wants... But to want the baby and abort for a man? Hell no! I have heard (and read in here) so many women have aborted babies that they wanted and then been so guilt ridden and disgusted by the man they aborted for making them do it that they left them anyways... did you tell her that? that she will hate him if its not something she wants to do? i can't see ever putting anyone before my children :-/

Its fine I totally understand your anger. I have told her that she shouldn't go through with it and to only do what she feels its right in her heart. He has said so many mean things to her and even threatened to take the baby if she has it because she is unfit parent in his eyes. I told her that hes a piece of #&$@ and he will never b able to do that. Shes having a hard time but I think with all of our support she will follow.her heart. I dont blsme her.or other women though, its the low life man not wanting to tak resposibility, only wiling to have fun but not man up

I totally agree... All they are thinking about is child support... So sad.

My guess would be that there is other reasons.. of course, reasons along the lines of the man.. but I suppose I am guilty of that as well. I think that women make that decision simply because they don't want to be alone raising a child.

That sounds like my BD of my first pregnancy LOL.. granted we were both 18 and extremely immature, but now 23 he's still no help what so ever. Hell, he STILL to this day will say that I'm an unfit parent AFTER I've been taking care of OUR daughter for the past 4 years 100% alone. ...lol such a joke.

Was it worth it though? Totally.
