Is it true they won't let you join if you have student loan debt? My uncles friend had to pay off 5k before they would accept him to join.

Obviously it is if your uncles friend has to pay his debt off first.

I've never heard of that. I thought they helped pay certain student loans back. Maybe his was in default?

My husband said maybe if he defaulted on the loan. Otherwise he says it's possible to get student loan repayale in your contract. He says talk to any recruiter and they will be able to tell you.
