so close...

And so frustrating! DD cruises but won't walk without holding on to something. wasn't till recently that she will walk holding just one finger instead of 2. well just a bit ago, i was laying in the floor playing with her. she pulled up on me and then let go on her own! she stood only 5 secs this time but its progress for her to let go on her own!

How old is she? I am in no rush for my 10 month old to walk.

My daughter has just started the same things a couple of weeks ago and yesterday she took her first step! She fell right afterwards, but she did it! Lol

How old is she? DD is starting to try and balance herself since she's a pro at pulling up/standing and i'm in NO hurry for her to walk, she's like a speedy crawler as it is, i turn around for one second and she has disappeared.

i should have put that in the OP. She'll be 10 months on the 24th. it's only frustrating because i know she CAN do it, she's just to scared.

Oh ok, shes about a week older than my son. He was born May 30. He cruises too but doesnt know how to sit back down and its so funny when he gets that look on his face like uhhh, help LOL

She turned 9 months on the 17th.

haha, this was her "sitting down"




she would wiggle her feet apart till she was really low then plop down. now she bends her knees till she's lower then plops down.

she was 13 days shy of 9 months when she 1st pulled up. now she cruises between furniture and books it crawling.
