I was molested a few times as a child and it has made me so paranoid that it will happen to my children. At first I didn't even want to breast feed because I thought it might be wrong. But I've realized it's the best for my baby and there is nothing weird about it. But my perception on things is very hindered. My younger sister was touching the Mickey Mouse on my sons diaper ad I shouted " don't touch his private parts", which was unnessasary because shes a child and wasnt causing any harm. I think I'm just really worried that the same things will happen that happend to me.

I agree with you guys. But I am interested in how her molestation was treated. I, unfortunately, am part of a SmUrfED up family who has had generation after generation of molesters because of how it has always been handled. IMO anyway. It's always been brushed under the rug and treated as something you should NEVER speak about, to anyone. Luckily, I never was one that was abused, but I cannot imagine how other family members of mine felt because of this. My cousin is spending 60 years in prison because he was found molesting his daughter, but he is the first one in the family to ever be punished. I thank god he was caught, and hopefully this will put some kind of end to it. My uncle molested him when he was younger, along with a few of my other cousins. One of my aunts also molested him. Then my uncle was molested by two of his uncles. And nobody did anything to help them, they made them feel as if nothing bad ever happened. I can see how in a case like that, where the abused is so torn and doesn't even know how they feel, and this girl is 19 so she is still so so young. If she was in a family that swept it under the rug and made her feel as though she should never ever speak of it, I can't imagine how she would handle it on her own. Not everyone can.

It's sick, but I believe that she needs help.

I made a thread a few days ago about my father who was sexually abused as a child. It was rumored that my SM found child pornography on my father's computer and I questioned whether or not it (I do not condone sexual abuse/molestation) would make sense that someone who was sexually abused as a child would look at child porn for a way to cope or understand what happened to them.

IMO it would not be a tool to cope. It would be triggering instead.

My logic was it is not uncommon for those who have been raped to have rape fantasies and act them out with a trusted friend or their partner. Like myself, I've been raped and I have rape fantasies, but I have never acted them out or at least not yet. Perhaps it's a reach, but it seems some what logical to me. Of course the same applies, some men and women who are raped may find rape fantasy to be triggering.

The problem with watching child porn though is that there were children actually harmed in the making of them. It's one thing to have those fantasies (if so, they should seek help immediately) but another to actually watch it. Where there's an audience, there's a supply/demand/market. They're contributing to the cycle by watching.
In a normal person, victim or not, they know that it's wrong.
Rape fantasies that you have (and even I have them) are not the same because you're/ I'm a consenting adult--not a victim.

No sympathy what so ever for this woman. There are tons of individuals out there who have been molested, raped, abused, and God knows what else as a child. They don't go on doing the same to their children even though there is that risk there. So, she or anyone else can't use that excuse with me.

It's not an excuse.

It is very common for people who were molested as children, especially those who either haven't dealt with it.
