For anyone who served at a restaurant while pregnant, how long until you went on leave?

I didnt personally serve at a restaurant but i have a couple of friends that did an they served until the day they went into labor...but they didnt have any problems with their pregnancies so their drs didnt see a problem in doing it

I quit a few weeks after I found out I was pregnant.

I worked til the end with my first. I had him at 39 weeks 6 days, and I think one of the last shifts I worked was around 39 weeks. My fear the entire last month was that I would be taking an order and have my water break in front of the guests lol. That never happened though
With my second I had a very complicated pregnancy and was on bed rest the majority of it. I took a lot of time off, but worked a couple shifts when it was okay'd by my doc.

I was 36 weeks. I was going to work until I had him, but my boss laid me off.

This is my second and I'm 30 weeks. I keep cramping at work, and spend the next day in pain too. I haven't been able to get in to see my ob in two months, so Idk if its ok or not. I thought I could work til the end, but now I'm having doubts. It hurts and is sooo exhausting.

I worked the day before I had her unexpectedly 24 days early. I would have probably worked longer if she had stayed in longer. My doc said it was up to me, because DH was worried because I was in so much pain. The managment let me work pretty much as much or as little as I wanted. I just had this feeling like I couldn't get enough money for
the baby. I had a pretty normal pregnancy though.

With my first 2 I served until labor day. It was hard and not worth it!! With this one I quit at 7 months.

Looking back, I wish I would have quit sooner. Who knows if she would have still came early or not, but I wish I had listened to DH and my mgrs. I felt like if the other two who had babies right before me could do it, I could too. Don't over-do it!

Im pregnant with my first and I waitress. I plan on doing it for as long as I can, or until my doc or manager says no more. I'm due June 28th and I already put in for my last day being June 26th. We'll see if I make it.
