Engagement rings

I've looked online at all the major jewlery stores, but haven't found anything I love. So eventually I'll probably end up getting something custom made.
I want white or yellow gold antique style setting/band with LOTS of scroll work detail engraving/cutouts all around it, with just a 1/3 carat diamond, maybe even smaller.

About how much would a low-medium quality 1/3 carat cushion cut diamond be??

And about how much for the setting?

I had a very plain yellow gold band with a 1/5th carat diamond And it only cost $200.

I'll probably end up getting the setting with a fake diamond first and eventually get a real diamond to replace it. I don't even like diamonds very much, the only reason I want a diamond is because it's durable and I always chip and crack my other rings without diamonds.

Anyways, any estimates on ABOUT how much the setting would cost? And that size diamond?

You need to go to a jewelry store, some places are cheaper then others. I wouldn't buy online.

Well yea the cost depends on the size.
I'm not going to be getting one any time soon, just lookin around but just wanted to get an idea in what a setting with a lot of detail would cost.

It's really going to depend on the jeweler and the quality/purity/whatever of the gold.
