Its my due date!

Well today is my due date AND no baby yet. I have been dialated to 4cm and 50% effaced for 3 weeks now and had my membanes stripped 4 times now. I was hoping to have went into labor by now but unfortunatly not. I was induced with my first 2 children and now I will be induced with my 3rd on Monday the 25th of march. Its kind of depressing that I never got to experiance the rush of going into labor normally with contractions and/or my water breaking but I guess my body just doesn't agree with the natural labor lol lol. I am so looking forward to Monday and to finally have our little man join our family. This weekend can not possibly pass fast enough.

You could still have spontaneous labor.. you don"t HAVE to be induced Monday... It's an estimated due date, it could be wrong or your babies could just require more cooking times than others...

Well congrats! How come your gonna get induced? You can still go into labor on your own!

Well I would wait but I would much rather be induced Monday then be pregnant another week. Also after 41 weeks the baby starts to not get the nutrition and support it needs from the placenta. Along with that he's already weighing above 8lbs according to doctor and ultrasound so I'm ready for him to come. I'm hopin I still go into labor over the weekend but I'm not getting my hopes up to high lol. I definatly plan on doing a lot of walking. Ty for the advice all  

Ultrasounds can be wrong by up to 2 pounds either way so he could be more like 6lbs. It's an estimate.

Also, past 40wks they can monitor your placenta and make sure it's still functioning correctly. If then there is a problem you should be induced but you don't have to before hand.

Either way it's your choice, just know that if natural labor is important you CAN wait.
